• Develop class format, pedagogical and program ideas that support goal of creating a vibrant community for Roots & Rock Program • Arrange group planning and feedback meetings for Roots & Rock faculty • Ensure pedagogical integrity and overall quality of teaching in all aspects of the program • Produce student and faculty performance events in the community • Develop K-12 school and community partnerships by presenting performances and demos • Conducting professional development activities for faculty and staff

In my role as Director of Education, Performing Arts, and Family Engagement, I oversaw PRAA's 21st Century Community Learning Centers program, Somos Uno; PRAA's community music school for youth - the Latin Music Project Center; and in-school and after school music enrichment programs at 12-15 Chicago Public Schools partner sites. With a team of over 60 contracted instructors and educational leaders, these programs served over 1,500 students annually. In addition to music education, programming also included - dance, visual arts, robotics, journalism, math/reading tutoring, and several other enrichment and academic courses for grades 3rd -12th. Family programs were also provided through strategic partnerships with other community-based organizations throughout Chicago. Included in my role was the coordination, production, and social media marketing efforts of nearly 50 performances, workshops, and events per year, which included: PRAA's annual concert series, Desde mi Barrio (March-May), and Baila Conmigo (August-October); PRAA's annual Noche Caribena concert at Navy Pier's Polk Bros Park (August); the Annual National Cuatro Festival held at the esteemed Harris Theater (November); and several city-wide performances, events, and workshops for students and families at multiple community arts venues and Chicago Public Schools sites.

• Maintain and drive sales through strong inventory management which includes daily cycle counts and monitoring BOH accuracy • Responsible for coaching, training, and holding associates accountable for delivering first-class customer service • Process payroll, scheduling, implement safety standards, and guide POS training for smooth day-to-day ops • Weekly review of Profit and Loss statements, Cash Management reports, and Inventory Audit Reports to maintain focus on areas of success, opportunity, and strengthen loss prevention measures
