CurrentA passionate health policy, government and public affairs professional committed to maximizing access to medicines for patients in need around the world; to informing policymakers and advocates about the innovative value of our medicines and translating policy insights into commercial vision and execution. Current responsibilities include both US and global policy development, advancement and advocacy.Advance US Federal and State as well as global policy (particularly Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Japan etc.) and economic issues by establishing internal commercial partnerships through forming and developing strategic external policy alliances. Identify, align and execute health policy, economic and reputational issues with business priorities. Develop and advance key US and global health and public policy positions on key issues to the company for internal and external advocacy purposes. Craft company and conduct joint commercial and policy analysis for mutual insights in the US and globally. A member of the CSL Behring Global Commercial Organization lending public policy support to CSL therapy areas, Pricing and Market Access teams and enabling function. Craft company US and global public policy strategic analysis and messaging in areas of commercial and reputational importance to CSL Behring. Promote policy outreach efforts with US and global health policy thought leaders, NGOs and academia creating business-relevant strategic alliances and heightened levels of external influence. Conduct political, economic, regulatory and legislative analysis for leadership, commercial and Public Affairs colleagues. Provide regular briefings to senior CSL Behring leaders on important public policy issues. Manage global trade association relationships, particularly at Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), The Alliance for Regenerative Medicines (ARM) and the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA).
