I took a time out to pursue some personal ambitions that are difficult to combine with a busy work life.I started out backpacking in Australia and New Zealand and used the last period of my leave helping small start ups.

• ORGANISATIONAL TRANSITION TO MATCH A NEW COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE
• Replaced CPO and substituted second in command (maternity leave) during major transition
• Management of 40+ employees in Denmark, Poland, US and China
• Established a tactical and operational sourcing team in business service center (Poland)
• Implemented a new corporate purchasing system (Ariba)
• Reestablished employee satisfaction and retention and the stakeholder satisfaction

• GLOBALISATION AND LEADERSHIP OF MAJOR GROWTH AND COST REDUCTIONS
• Led and developed a global organization with 100+ people
• Established 20 new sales subsidiaries and integrated multiple acquisitions
• Implemented SAP finance, human resources, sourcing, supply, manufacturing
• Contracted and transitioned application maintenance service to an external provider
• Established a global infrastructure and a global service desk

• INITIATION AND MANAGEMENT OF A COMPANYWIDE BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION
• Overall lead (Program Manager) of "Fit for Future" - a cross functional company wide program
• The program led to - A simplified European commercial structure consolidating 33 Affiliates into 10 Affiliate Units - Establishment of a multi-functional Business Service Centre in Krakow, Poland - Structured sourcing.

• DEFINITION AND DEPLOYMENT OF A GLOBAL IT STRATEGY IN A LOW MARGIN BUSINESS
• Restructured the international IT community
• Developed a business systems architecture for key operational processes
• Established a business systems road map for loosely coupled affiliates
• Contracted and implemented a fully outsourced global infrastructure (35 countries)

• DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW APPLICATION- AND INFRASTRUCTURE PLATFORM
