After being a production Carpenter in the Las Vegas area for 10 years, Michael S. Marohnic received a B license, in 1988, from the California Contractor’s State License Board and opened up a sole proprietor business under the name of California Framers.California Framers business activities focused on Super-Structure building; specializing in concrete and framing of upper end custom homes, room additions and remodeling projects. Michael S. Marohnic’s primary responsibilities included business management, project estimating, scheduling, material take-off’s, material and sub-contractor coordination and consulting with building departments, building officials, architects and engineers throughout all aspects of project construction, coordination and completion. In 1990 California Framers successfully developed custom single-family spec homes in the Victorville area from the ground upIn 1991, California Framers merged with a local vinyl window manufacturer in the San Diego area as an independent building contractor.
