As a General Manager I am responsible to exemplify integrity and accountability at the managerial level as well as demonstrate excellent team leadership skills. Successfully oversee the daily operations of multiple departments with a combined gross of over $40 million in sales, drive business growth by creating lasting professional relationships with members and vendors, utilize Excels, company reports, and company procedures in order to track sales and forecast future sales, and through excellent organization obtain accurate audits and maintain a operating margin above the market standard.Manage staffs consisting of 36-40 associates, prepare associates for success by coaching and training, creating personal development plans to assist them in growing with the company, promote a team oriented environment for them to share their ideas and learn together, and cultivate talent within the company by developing and promoting associates into leadership roles. Build strong and crucial relationships with vendors by working closely with them in order to ensure the company’s and their need’s are met and most importantly to enhance the overall member experience.
