Bilingual (Spanish and English) management professor and consultant with over two decades of experience working with organizations in the business, government and not-for-profit sectors. Primary areas of expertise include: conflict resolution; improving organizational performance through inclusive cultures of empowerment; individual assessment and selection (especially for intercultural and inclusion competencies); executive coaching and leadership development; the impact of leadership on organizational culture and employee performance; and interpersonal effectiveness in the workplace.A widely cited researcher who has conducted internationally award winning work in the areas of measuring and training on aptitudes for working successfully in diverse and cross-cultural environments. He was the lead author of the commercially distributed “Teamwork-KSA” employment test and a key team member in the development and validation of the "Global Competencies Inventory," the "Intercultural Effectiveness Scale," and the more recent "Inclusion Competencies Inventory," which are all psychometrically validated assessments that have collectively been administered to more than 200,000 respondents worldwide (and in 12 major languages). He is currently active in several professional societies and has held leadership and board positions in industry, government, consulting, and not-for-profit organizations.
