    With Tenx9—Nashville, TN's longest-running storytelling series—I produced a monthly community storytelling night, providing a consistent opportunity for nine community members to share real, personal stories from their lives, revolving around a central monthly theme. Audience attendance for each event was 100 people. Curating and hosting the event, I collected moving stories to share with diverse audiences. Tenx9 notable events and partnerships include:~ Opened Vanderbilt Divinity’s “Re-Visioning Justice in America” national conference in April 2015.~ Featured at the Wild Goose Festival 2016 and 2017 in North Carolina.~ Partnered with Meharry Medical College, Sister Cities Nashville, Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, The Porch Writers’ Collective, Parnassus Books, One Voice Nashville, Gideon’s Army, and the Frist Art Museum.Other notable achievements:- 100+ consecutive monthly events- 1,000+ stories told- 9,000+ attendee

    In this ongoing role, I collaborated with internal teams and volunteers to train new facilitators in expert story exchange processes, building expertise in organizational standards and practices to ensure programmatic successes. In 2020, I also began training and coaching other Master Practitioners. ~ Lead story exchanges, building student engagement and empowerment through the telling of their own stories.~ Quickly recruited to join the first Narrative 4 cohort of Master Practitioners to aid in the development of next generation storytellers; trained and mentored exchange program volunteers to build their empowerment, facilitation, and motivational skills.

    During this time, I designed and led dynamic networking, outreach, and program facilitation, training and mentoring volunteers in facilitation and Narrative 4 standards and practices. Unifying teams across the Southeast Region, I empowered the development of compelling stories, leading diverse story exchange programs to build cultural and social awareness.~ Appointed to head the newly established Southeast Regional Hub, expanding program reach through expert leadership.~ Delivered professional development training, enhancing organizational workflow and efficiency.~ Managed the implementation of approximately 85 story exchanges, one per week within the role, exchanging nearly 1,600 stories across Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Arkansas, and Alabama. ~ Expanded organizational reach, recruiting and training eight new Master Practitioner candidates and generating approximately 500 new contacts (roughly six per week) to grow network.~ Shaped programs, developing Master Practitioner trainings, more than doubling Facilitator Toolkit size, and producing mission-critical digital content including the Virtual Exchange Guide and the Simple Guide for Deep Connection.~ Strategically grew partnership network, building lasting relationships of trust with at least 20 new organizations and dozens of key facilitators.~ New region boasted 15 facilitator trainings and 220 new facilitators, 75% of which were personally organized, recruited for, and led.~ Collaborated on a deep-dive evaluation of organizational makeup, structure, and operations to generate reports and recommendations on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
