I am responsible for developing- and implementing new business as well as optimising existing business for customers in the Automotive, Industrial and High Tech Industry.

Within the Global Account Management department I have worked on a number of RFP's/RFQ's for Fortune 500 companies.My last assignment was the project lead on an airfreight implementation for Apple Inc., including onboarding multiple OEMs within China. After succesfully implementing this new busines I moved into the role of managing this contract as a dedicated Contract Manager.

In this role I have learned to use Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos) and spreading this knowlege by training the SQ managers worldwide.

During this job I assisted the Supply Manager with the negotiation and preparation of KLM-wide procurement contracts.

I was responsible for conducting a salary survey among 11.000 procurement professionals in the Netherlands. This salary survey, titled ‘Career and Salary Monitor Procurement 2007’, was conducted in association with Erasmus University Rotterdam, NEVI and Berenschot Procurement. The results of this salary survey and the predictive salary model are currently available on the website www.salarisinkoop.nl. The results were also publiced twice in the largest Dutch newspaper. Furthermore an article was published in a career special which was sent to 15.000 procurement and logistic professionals.
