I am currently a Clinical Administration Coordinator at Optum. I am a key member of the Prior Authorization's department. I have just completed and had leadership approve a brand new Automated Phone Intake Form that I designed and Created. This form will save the Prior Auth Coordinators a significant amount of time and simplifies our current process. I have also created a multi department training center that has one direct source for our training as well as other departments that interact with our job functionalities. This ensures a smoothness of department case handling and increases accuracy and efficiency. I plan to transform the training and new hire process to streamline the learning process. I also am researching further developments that can improve other aspects of our job area. I am also currently part of a new pilot program for customer outreach and was selected as a trial participant. I am also one of the coordinators that has been tasked with assisting in the training process for new nurses on the case intake process. Directly out of Training I was chosen to be moved to the specialist's team for Home Health Care and Part B Drugs. I am now considered a Subject Matter Expert in this area. I am looking to grow within the company and eventually get into Project Management.

As a Customer Service Manager I was able to learn how to use the Inventory and checkout system very quickly, I was able to be the fastest person to be certified within my department, within my first thirty days. I was then asked by management to move to the Customer Manager Position at my sixty day mark. I was known for being able to handle upset customers and have them leave the store happy and feeling taken care of. I constantly achieved 100% on my mystery shopper scores both for front end customer services as well as returns department. Returns department manager frequently asked for my help with Returns when they got very busy or needed the department taken care of while they were doing other things. Management complimented me on my reliability and work ethic. I was also involved within the IT department and frequently helped out when I was able. I helped prepare nightly backups and worked on configuring reports for different department managers. I strived to learn more advanced functions and procedures when time allowed.

My duties at St. Mary’s included creating orders from our main warehouse that will be distributed to other food pantries throughout the valley. I would receive emails for requests on types of pallets of food, I would then use ad-hoc queries to get results of quantity in our inventory. I would then tag my orders, it would then be moved to shipping it would then be staged for delivery. I was able to be on time with my orders daily and have all entries completed 100% of the time by end of day. At the end of the day I would generate reports showing my orders, what was moved and adjust quantity. I would then run nightly routines to give me a summary of the days orders as well as list any quantities that were low.
