With over 30 years experience working across Australia and Asia Pacific, I have recently joined United as the Group's Chief Financial Officer. I am responsible for the financial management and governance of a range of retail and food manufacturing businesses operating under the United banner.My first retail job saw me as a 14 year old pushing trolleys, receiving stock and shelf replenishment for the Shoeys Supermarket group in regional NSW, growing up in a town where no-one had much money. I fell in love with retail then as I saw firsthand how the retail experience contributes to happiness in people’s every day lives and have followed retail and FMCG throughout my whole career. Prior to joining United, I was a partner in KPMG's Audit Assurance and Risk Consulting practice specialising in Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Control. I have been fortunate to work across both the Private and Public sector, across a range of industry models with a focus on enhancing shareholder value and enhancing enterprise capabilities for strategic oversight and governance.I am passionate about building an inclusive and diverse workplace, and am excited daily to learn from our brilliant team across United.
