I retired from MIT Lincoln Laboratory. I worked in the Mechanical Engineering department.I was responsible for the Harness & Cable Integration on many programs during my 3.7 years on Staff.I Designed Test and HI-Fi cable assemblies for many Government programs.

Created wiring diagrams and cable assemblies to incorporate new Global Air Traffic Management system for the KC-135 and OC-135B aircraft for the U.S. Air Force.Also created a new intercom system for the OC-135B treaty aircraft.Provided engineering support for the first article installations on the OC-135B, KC135 BLK 45 and E-6B Trainer at the ARINC facitlity in Oklahoma City, OK.

Successful lead engineer on H-1, V-22 and ARH military programs.■ Successfully designed avionics wiring interconnect architecture, while leading a team of harness designers, completing all interconnect wiring harnesses and integrated assemblies on four prototypes of the armed reconnaissance helicopter for the U S Army.■ Managed and coordinated the development and implementation of all wiring integration assemblies and control panel wiring harnesses to successfully expedite the completion of the Huey and Cobra helicopters for the USMC H-1 Program. ■ Established new methods/procedures while training a team of electrical designers to design wiring integration assemblies and control panel wiring harnesses, utilizing CATIA V4, developed new Ribbon, Hybrid and Conventional interconnect wiring harnesses, using CATIA V4 and UNIGRAPHICS NX on the USMC H-1 program.

ELECTRICAL HARNESS DESIGN / WIRING INTEGRATION GROUPCoordinated, as a team leader, the design and completion of interconnect trunk and panel wiring harnesses on the F-16 fighter aircraft for the USAF, accurately incorporating engineering change proposals to add new system capabilities.■ Successfully managed the electrical systems/harness definition database to compare the electrical schematics with the wiring diagrams to find faults and determine corrective actions to develop error free wiring harnesses on F-16 fighters for many countries.■ Expedited completion of interconnect trunk and panel wiring harnesses on the F-16 fighter aircraft for the USAF accurately incorporating engineering change proposals on the following: Common Configuration Implementation Program, Night Vision Imaging System, On Board Oxygen Generating System, Color Airborne Video Tape Recorder, Color Multi-function Display and Modular Mission Computer.

INSTALLATION DESIGN GROUPProvided engineering support for the development and documentation of multi-systems installation mock-ups and prototypes on the following programs:YA-7F Aircraft / TA-7P two-place Trainer for Portugal / Re-engine TA-7C two place. RETROFIT ENGINEERINGCreated Modification Data Packages, illustrating structural rework, equipment installation and routing and clamping of all interconnect wiring required to incorporate Engineering Change Proposals on the following programs:TA-7C Training Aircraft - added video camera in front cockpit and multi-function video display in rear cockpit.A-7D and A-7K Low Altitude and Night Attack - added Forward Looking Infra-Red, Automatic Terrain Following systems and video camera. Video recorder and multifunction display incorporated into rear cockpit of A-7K.
