I am a registered patent attorney focusing on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications relating to artificial intelligence, wireless communications, and complex software systems. In addition to my patent prosecution practice, I have assisted in analyzing patents in litigation and provided strategic guidance on a variety of patent issues. I have experience as both outside counsel to clients of various sizes and in-house counsel, having been seconded to the legal department at a Fortune 500 client managing the patent docket for two of the client's business units.I am a 2013 graduate of George Mason University School of Law, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree on the Patent Law track. I received a B.A. in Computer Science, with high distinction, from the University of Virginia in 2010. My educational and technical background is broadly focused on computer technologies, including network communications, Internet technologies, and controls systems.Outside of the office, you'll often find me training for another half marathon or on an outdoor photography expedition.
