Recruited to help establish a new Transportation software business model by creating a new ATMS system concept and creating a roadmap for its construction. Also, worked with a team of application developers and program managers in Hexagon’s Geospatial Division, creating custom enterprise software focused on highway safety management for Departments of Transportation and Public Transit agencies.

Using an Agile approach to task prioritization, project management skills, and a pro-active style at working with people; helped a local entity identify and work through a backlog of concerns which included campus security enhancements, overall campus maintenance, educational scholarship allocations, ADA compliance, documenting operational guidelines, codes compliance, as well as planning support during construction of a new multi-purpose facility.

Enhanced TDOT's Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) by focusing on vision, proposing strategies, and creating product roadmaps for a next-generation system. Introduced a portfolio of products and services with proofs of concept, 24+ technology projects, and 10 new applications developed both internally and with vendors.Led the concept and development of SWIFT, TDOT’s first and only internally developed ATMS.Led the development of SmartWay Traffic, TDOT’s public-facing traffic information map.Led the concept and development of SWIFT-Lite, an incident management SaaS platform that allowed any participating municipality or partner to capture and manage local incidents and special events and have those captured on TDOT’s SmartWay Traffic map.Created requirements and transportation use cases for architects with technology partner, Cisco.
