I helped students during Career Center drop-in hours and other office-wide events (e.g., presentations put on for students). Through a variety of weekly meetings with supervisors and other office personnel, I was able to enhance my own career development. Additionally, this position gave me the opportunity to carry out personal projects fitted to my own interests or skills. Some examples included creating graphics that promoted career center events, giving a presentation to staff on the importance of organization, and analyzing large swaths of data. Show less

Utilizing customized learning plans, I tutored groups of students, up to 9 at any given time, ranging from ages 6-16. Interacting with these students for 5 hours a day, 4 times a week, I strove not only to enhance their mastery of math, but their love of the subject as well.

This was a recurring position in June of 2017, 2018, and 2019. I worked as the audio visual technician at a continuing education conference put on by Georgia Hand, Shoulder, and Elbow. In this role, I oversaw the success of speaker presentations and breakout sessions for over 100 occupational and physical therapists, while troubleshooting and correcting all audio and visual problems for all of the speakers and attendees.
