Since I was a kid I have always found myself tinkering with electronics. This started with creating simple websites and developed into creating custom hardware and software for a solar car. My desire to create and learn led me to enroll in computer maintenance and programming classes in high school. This step pushed me to study Computer Science at Missouri S&T. At Missouri S&T I was involved in two design teams that allowed me to experiment with hardware design, embedded software, and leadership style. My experience on design teams provided me with the ability to rapidly grow my skills while having fun. Not every experience went smoothly, but in the challenging moments I often learned the most. After graduating I joined as a Software Engineer at KnowledgeLake creating Enterprise Content Management Software. Outside of work I continue to tinker through my many hobbies such as high powered rocketry, haunted house animatronic design/maintenance, and radio controlled planes/cars.http://mwrouse.com
