I've been in accounting for over thirty years, the last twenty in public accounting. I have all manner of clients including a great deal of physician and dental practitioners, individuals, nonprofit organizations and churches. But the real question is WHY? Why do I do what I do? I sincerely believe that my business is more about helping people succeed in their businesses than I do about just making a living. I have been blessed with a good sense of running a business; like the importance of having good controls and procedures, how to prepare financial statements that are clear and concise and help the reader gain insight to how a business is performing. It is never just a tax return, or an audited financial statement, a piece of paper, or an electronic filing, etc. I care for my clients and my desire is that they grow their businesses. I count their successes my success as well. I am proud of them and their families. I have a real passion to serve people and love how my position gives me the opportunity to help organizations thrive and grow. I currently serve on the Board of the Miami Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. I also serve as Chair on the Mission and Capacity Building committee that is responsible for the effective recruitment, engagement, and recognition of our dedicated volunteers. I am in the Dayton B2B Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) and have or currently serving as Education Coordinator, Secretary/Treasurer, Mentor, and Visitor Host. The B2B Chapter has been one of the top performing Chapters in the Greater Miami Valley region. I get networking and I love having just the right person to refer to my clients and friends. I am also a member of the Dayton Vineyard Church. My greatest goal is to honor God with all that I do. I fall short occasionally as we all do, but my heart is always about honoring Him (Col 3:23-24).
