Ecoventure is an Outdoor Education provider delivering adventure and field studies programs in the UAE and oversees to 9,000+ students each year. • Producing and implementing Minimum Operating Standards and revised Risk Assessments for all sessions to ensure sessions are inline with UK standards.• Leasing with party leaders before trips to prepare an appropriate program prior to their arrival at camp.• Overseeing the safety checks of activities and equipment, and site maintenance, are carried out regularly.• Conducting staff observations to ensure that sessions are run in accordance with the minimum operating standards and guests were receiving a high quality product. Instructors received feedback from these observations to help keep their sessions of a high standard.• Designing and implementing new activities to increase the number of sessions at camp.• Writing the staff timetable to ensure all session are led by a suitably qualified member of staff.• Running taster session including kayaking, raft building, climbing, abseiling, mountain biking and snorkelling.• Completing staff wage sheets and faxing them to head office.• Handling petty cash and completing expense sheets

• Working alongside a freelance water sports consultant to produce and implement Minimum Operating Standards, Risk Assessments, Training and In House Assessments for all activities, with a view to progressing the center to a point where it could gain RYA recognition.• Preparing and delivering training and development sessions in sailing, windsurfing and kayaking to instructors.• Running sessions in a variety of RS boats, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and mountain biking, all to secondary school aged children. • Writing the staff timetable to ensure all activities were run by instructors with the relevant qualifications and that the instructors were at the correct place at the correct time as activities ran from two separate locations.• Overseeing the smooth and safe running of all sessions at the beach. • Ensuring the safety boat was manned at all times either by myself or by the senior instructor. • Conducting staff observations to ensure that sessions were run in accordance with the minimum operating standards and guests were receiving a high quality product. Instructors received feedback from these observations to help keep their sessions of a high standard.
