He was the first salesperson for a fledgling software publisher; Michael quickly got placement into every major retailer, competing against much larger publishers, such as Adobe. Within 4 years he was the VP of North America and was responsible for opening offices in Europe and Japan. Moreover, from a casual conversation with the VP of Development, he pioneered software downloads, two titles of which had 1 million downloads each. The results of efforts were annual domestic sales of $60M and WW sales of $250M.Then started new businesses and/or divisions with little to no experience for the tasks, but by leveraging is ability to understand the target audience, how to expertly position the services, finding and closing strategic partners, being creative and a bulldog ‘wining’ attitude to landing clients as the head of business development always resulted in exceeding expectations. Prior to Michael’s current position, he was responsible for creating an Amazon agency called KartSmartr which quickly became a leading agency helping Grocery, HPC, Beauty and Fashion companies be successful on Amazon. Michael was responsible for business development as well. This included creating a media management division for Instacart, Amazon and other ad platform management for our clients. Prior to KartSmartr he was the founder of Vendo's eCom Omni-Channel division and within 3 years grew its Amazon store into the top 5% of all Amazon sellers and all this with the additional responsibility of being the head of business development for brand client acquisition; a testament to being able to build a sales division from scratch with outstanding results.
