I am a passionate, hard working individual who is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and ideas. Since being made redundant in the 2007/8 financial crisis, I decided to make my own way in business and now have several. After running South Downs Solar and winning the Deloitte's Sussex Small Business of the Year in 2012, I now have my own solar maintenance business. Over 1000 domestic and commercial solar systems and and Electric Vehicle Charging points were installed and Solar PV maintenance was also supplied to the residential and commercial sectors across the UK. With the Government funding charges for the FIT in January 2016, I decided to keep the Solar PV maintenance and continue to work with private clients, multiple Councils and Facilities Management companies.These have given me the opportunity to work in my other passions in life, fine wines, artisan products and spirits, enabling me to support both local and regional growers through my companies English Wine Box and Spirit of the Downs which was organically created as a by-product of the waste from English Wine production, to produce a wonderful Spirit Vodka.Following on from this, more recently in 2017, I extensively researched exploring pain relief for a close friend and came across the multiple benefits that CBD oil can bring. Realising that in the UK, CBD oil was in its infant stages, I set up a CBD/Cannabis business to provide people with health supplements that promote wellbeing, both physically and mentally.Having initially graduated with an honours degree, I originally trained as a surveyor, and in the RAF as a Pilot Officer aircrew. In my spare time I am a qualified snowboard and softball instructor, play 5 a side football and train at Brighton and Hove boxing club.
