Conducting Interviews with former soldiers of the 251 Cypriot Infantry Battalion, with many of them being war-captives, about their service in the National Guard during the years 1972-1974 and particularly about their involvement in the Turkish Invasion of Cyprus in 1974.

Researched the periodical Times of Cyprus, published between 1957-1959, about its connection with the National Organization of Cypriot Fighters (E.O.K.A.), with the results of this research being recently published as: Michalis Konnaris, Times of Cyprus (1957-1959): The support towards E.O.K.A. and the criticism against the governmental forces, DELTOS, 13 (July-December 2023), pp. 161-172.Cataloging Material: Postcards of different locations of Cyprus were categorized based on chronology and the region of the photo taken.

Training Involved: -Combat readiness, demonstrating will.-Special training as Sergeant (responsibilities, knowledge and duty), increasing responsibilities.Responsibilities:- Daily tasks and activities of small squads of 8 men, gaining leadership qualities.- Training soldiers on combat readiness and military equipment use, increasing communication skills and teamwork.
