The Director, Special Projects leads a variety of business development, Thought Leadership and innovation activities. Focusing on the growth of Enhanced Service projects and innovation, the Director is Chair of the Regional ES team and Regional Technological Committee. I provide technical expertise, quality control, training and mentorship for employees. The Director, Special Projects collaborates with senior leaders across the region to improve the quality of services delivered, drive growth and support strong customer engagement. I am an expert in Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO).With more than 25 years of environmental consulting experience, I offer proven competence in all aspects of environmental site assessments, reclamation, remediation, risk management and compliance monitoring. I bring a strong ability to apply general scientific principles to resolve site-specific problems, and I work hard to identify clients’ potential environmental liabilities. As a result of our ongoing commitment to our clients, Pinchin Ltd. has become one of the largest and most reputable environmental, health & safety, and engineering consulting firms in Canada. I earned my Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies (M.Sc. (Env)) from the Colorado School of Mines, in 2007; I hold a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Environmental Studies from the University of Alberta (1998); I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Hardware from MIT (1979); and, I am an Environmental Professional with ECO Canada.
