Working in two main projects: Dynamic Pricing algorithms and Target Curves predictions.Dynamic Pricing involves pricing flights in production as the market evolves over time. Adjusting pricing according to market behaviour using different statistical techniques. The work is done mostly in cloud and our team handles the development of the models, strategies and the implementation in cloud infrastructure, which is split between AWS and Azure. Main skills needed: Python / Statistics / Big Data / Large Scale model training - fitting - data extraction / Machine Learning / Deep LearningTarget Curves refer to how the load of the aircrafts is handled over time. This project is the main input of all pricing algorithms in the company, as it shows the expectation of how the flights should be loaded over time. All flights in the network are handled on a day-today basis, so this project requires leveraging a plethora of Big Data processing techiniques for efficiency. The project is also live and consumed by other services and projects dynamically, and error metrics have been improved by ~6% with respect to previous solutions.We have also implemented some LLM applications and solutions related to code parsing and flight recommendations.

Specializing in data science, PySpark, statistics, and geolocation, I have a proven track record of delivering impactful projects that drive business value. Key Projects:Developed a new metric for measuring correctness at component level, utilizing fuzzy matching techniques and data parsing to accurately calculate metrics. Built an end-to-end pipeline to gather data from various sources and competitor APIs, defining the sample size to achieve the correct margin of error. This metric allowed the Addressing value stream to quantify what components are missing or lacking and which components are more/less relevant to find the correct response for the end-user.Worked in geospatial analytics, creating a proof of concept for finding search hotspots and measuring areas of user interest. This allowed for a change in the way investments were done for new content of the map. Now, map owners know were they should invest, so investing becomes targeted and purposeful, instead of general.Worked in a team of Data Scientists to develop a building detection model from aerial images. The model got an aerial image of a region and returned the polygon that represents the building using image segmentation techniques.Other projects involved building visualization tools for stakeholders for map edits, predicting of map edits were correct/wrong to reduce manual validation of errors.

As a Data Science intern, I developed various projects focused on sample generation and automating manual validation processes. My role involved leveraging data analysis, statistics, data visualization, and machine learning techniques to generate samples that were used to enhance the performance of predictive models. I was also instrumental in automating manual validation processes, which helped to reduce human error and improve efficiency. This project resulted in the reduction of samples that needed to be manually validated. I also worked on developing materialized views in SQL so stakeholders could be kept up to date with the regression that some map features experimented. Also reduced execution times in different processes by redesigning them to be executed in PySpark on Azure services. All these developments were taken into account when I was offered a full time position in the company.
