I am a dedicated educator who fosters life-long learning through multiple teaching techniques. I enjoy taking into consideration each child’s unique persona to help guide my teaching path. Offering more positive ways of thinking, breaking the old mold and allowing children to explore their interests is what defines my teaching! I find myself exploring and revising my teaching techniques throughout my discovery of the child. The past twenty years of observations and daily practices have shaped and transformed my methods of teaching. My goal is to enhance each child’s curiosity towards learning. A classroom should be a place of adventure, where the opportunity for exploration and discovery can unfold. My favorite part of teaching is when a child has an "aha"​ moment in the middle of their learning! That is truly the essence of my love for teaching! One child's inspirational "aha"​ moment can extend into a journey of life-long learning!I continue to learn from my students as well. It gives me great pleasure to thank all my students for helping me learn about myself. Just recently, I completed my first children's book. After reading the book to my students, they cheered and said, "Go publish that book!"​ How ironic it is to have my students stand by my side and encourage their teacher to have an "aha"​ moment!
