Responsible for daily purchasing operations for both New York State Government and Research Foundation funding to include procuring of goods under policy guidelines and procedures ensuring compliance with regulations. Knowledge/procuring of under New York State procurement guidelines as related to Contracts/Minority & Women Owned Compliance/Purchase orders. Solicitation of and contract manager of IFB Bids and Proposals as per procurement and Agency Guidelines. Campus Wide Credit Card System Administrator for both New York State funds and Research Foundation grantsources. Duties included auditing of credit card use, development of user guide, training, implementation of new webapplication for reconciliation, new card account set ups and distribution of credit cards. Collaborate with department staff and Directors on streamlining processes for more efficiency i.e. development ofonline Purchase order data base, assist with online purchase requisition development. Guidance and procuring of goods for the whole campus, with emphasis on working collaboration with the physicalplant and facility design departments. Assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies/coding/Contracts/Blanket Purchas Orders. Train staff as needed to include both data entry and purchasing staff on policies and use of web applications forprocuring of goods. Attendance of various annual Statewide Purchasing Association conferences for continuing education and/ orrepresentation of Campus at events. Maintain vendor file and management to include processing of w-9 forms.
