I am a dynamic and engaging Instructional Designer who enjoys working in the collegiate environment. I enjoy collaborating with faculty and working with them on elements of course design and instruction in Online Learning, and also enjoy helping them revise their online courses to improve instruction, based on their own theories and practices and student comments. I am also a certified Peer Reviewer for Quality Matters, which is an organization dedicated to helping faculty to improve the quality of online education and student learning by reviewing courses according to an evaluative rubric created by an accredited organizational board.I have eighteen years of experience assisting faculty who desire to teach online courses and integrate the use of media in their courses, having served as an Instructional Design consultant and a Multimedia Instructional Design Specialist in two prior positions. My educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Studies, and I have completed a Master of Arts degree with a focus on Instructional Systems Design and Development at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.Within the last few years, I have successfully organized several large scale projects, including the technical aspects of Montgomery College's OER implementation and our Emergency Remote Teaching program. I am looking to grow into a role that relies more heavily on my project management skills and my ability to coordinate the work products of a diverse group of colleagues into a well-designed large scale project.
