Responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality System Management, Master Data and Product Stewardship in South America within the Petrochemicals Business at BASF.

Responsible for the Superabsorbent Plant QA lab by ensuring data integrity for timely release of goods for raw materials, finished products and in-process products; Responsible for Local Quality Management in SAP plant by: local management reviews; risk management (FMEA, recall) , ensuring review of processes and a proper documentation of local SOPs; Leveraging quality culture among SAP employees by conducting trainings in order to increase awareness for quality and hygiene requirements; Conducting audits according to Hygiene standards for internal and supplier/contractor audits as well as preparing the SAP plant for external and customer audits, as member of the global Hygiene Community audit pool. Driving Non-Conformance Management for ensuring customer satisfaction and internal continuous improvement; Raw materials management: Set up of local specifications for site specific raw materials and steering the approval process for new local ones; Regional representative of Global Quality Community, having strong interaction with other members for all kind of quality topics and with other BASF Hygiene plants/research/technical centers/Global Key Account Management and regional sales representatives.

Responsible for coordinating activities in quality control laboratories of resins and decorative paint production for EC business in Brazil. Supervising procedures and execution of tests to ensure quality control of finished products and in-process products to guarantee the reliability of analysis results; Conducting methods/standards implementation and evaluating existing processes to guarantee quality consistency and optimization of lab activities; Applying Measurement System Analysis for checking accuracy of existing methods and as part of requirements for ISO TS conformance; Coordinating internal non-conformance management for decorative paints; Responsible to perform technical evaluation customer complaints in ECD Business.

Responsible to coordinate the process engineering activities at Suvinil Plant (production of decorative water born paints at Demarchi Site); Increase of quality production indicators by plant installation improvements, operational training and better integration of involved areas; Investigation of non-conformance occurrences within production and filling lines; Responsible to coordinate projects focused on production processes refinements; Representative for Lean Program within the Suvinil Plant.

In Training to act as the technical representative for the air separation plant in Cabo – PE.

Responsible for the production of paints and resins in order to achieve the productivity and quality levels established, by the optimization of available resources; representative for the Process Safety Code for the Responsible Care Program at this site; Quality representative for audits support (ISO 9000, 14000 and German BASF SHE Audits - Safety, Health and Environment); Representative for process engineering in the project to increase capacity and safety compliance to production of resins.

Responsible for the production process of paints and resins, production non-conformance investigation and quality management in order to improve process results; Representative for the Environmental Protection Code for the Responsible Care Program at this site and responsible for the wastewater treatment system; Representative for the Documentation Management Team (Quality Multipliers); Audits Support (ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and BASF Intern Audits). Strong Contribution in the annual RC report.
