I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with At-Risk youth in a variety of settings. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Juvenile Probation officer which was truly a humbling learning experience. I have also taught Middle School for a number of years. After staying at home with my babies for several years, I got ESL certified to become more "marketable" in the workforce. Little did I know that this path would lead to my passion! In this world I found the opportunity to advocate for and support under-served youth. In my positions as an Instructional Coach and now a Compliance Coordinator, I am able channel my energy and passion into a larger environment.
