I am a Finance and Contracts professional with many years of experience in both roles. I have managed contracts from $50m per year up to $500m per year over my career, in the Business Manager and Director of Finance level positions. As a Director of Finance I managed a portfolio of programs totaling over $600m in revenue. I found the most success working with Operations to ensure effective cost controls were in place by educating Project Managers in the nuances of finance and profitability. In conjunction with my Accounting degree and Contracts Management training, I was successful in managing the programs / business holistically, minimizing risk to the company while maximizing profit in roles from Manager level to VP level. In the next phase of my career I am looking for a role that not only suits my skill set but provides an opportunity to work for a company that supports veterans, the military or other humanitarian purposes. I'm a dedicated, hard-working professional who appreciates work / life balance to enjoy my family and read as much as I can. I love to travel, for business or pleasure, and hope to see more of the world in the next few years.
