About Michele Fite

I carve the fastest and most lucrative path to product-market fit for food and agriculture companies, from early-stage technology startups to established, global brands. As a 30+ year veteran in the industry, I sit at the intersection of technology, market, and vision. I cut through the noise, complexity, and fast-changing environment to help companies realize their untapped potential. Currently, I serve as Chief Commercial Officer for Elo Life Systems, the maker of healthy plant-based food ingredients that are delicious and affordable. Our flagship product is a natural sweetener that replaces sugar and artificial sweeteners. I serve on the board of the Child Nutrition Foundation, Women in Agribusiness, and as a board advisor for Tender Food. My career journey has taken me from the biggest household brand names in food to exciting early-stage ventures: ● Technology product launches: At Motif FoodWorks, I led the business and commercial effort that launched its first two innovative plant-based food technologies in record time, resulting in a $240M+ Series B raise in 2021. ● Business turnarounds: As President of Kerry's Dairy & Culinary Division, I reversed the division’s downward spiral in just 12 months, restructuring R&D and sales, and implemented a new supply chain infrastructure. ● The path to IPO: At Kaleido BioSciences, I was a key strategist leading to the company’s 2019 IPO valuation of $75M. ● Mergers & acquisition: As President of Cadena Bio, I architected the strategy that led to an acquisition within 9 months.● Global P&L responsibility: At DuPont, I managed a $3.5 billion global P&L. I led the redesign and restructure of the Nutrition & Health business, which led to double-digit revenue and margin growth. For me, food and ag-tech are more than a career—it’s an industry that affects our everyday health and wellness. Food brings us joy and security, creates lifelong memories, and changes lives.
