I am currently serving the community as a certified behavioral health nurse practitioner for children and adolescents. I deliver compassionate and evidenced based psychiatric care to those I serve, with an emphasis on client empowerment. In my previous position, I demonstrated my leadership abilities by developing and expanding a Bariatric program beyond the level of national certification. I was successful at generating community excitement about the program to meet the individual needs of WLS candidates. I believe that employees of an organization should be led to feel empowered to do more for the organization and the patients in particular. I personify this belief by leading by example and using "the Golden Rule" or, treat others as you would be treated. I believe we can change the culture of health care today by caring for the staff members who care for the patients. Do I believe I can do it all by myself? Of course not. Do I believe one person can make a difference? Absolutely!! By striving for nothing short of excellence I continuously pursue my goal to be that one person.
