Since April 1, 2021 I work as (Sr.) Project Manager and Portfolio Manager at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Netherlands (IKNL). Here I apply my project-, portfolio-, and resource management experience to a meaningful application area: healthcare. As portfolio manager I am responsible to translate the mission of IKNL into strategic goals and to define the corresponding long- and short term programs. The analytical facilities are equipped with an impressive diversity and the latest high-end analytical equipment. As (interim) resource manager from the Business Development group within DSM Resolve I am responsible for the overall business portfolio of DSM Resolve, consisting of several DSM parties as well as external parties. I lead and develop a team of 8 persons with a diversity of backgrounds and functions including a customer service team, (key) account managers, program managers and (new) business developers. I characterized a variety of materials, like carbon black, doted tinoxide, resins, media, inks and elastomers like silicon, EPDM and perfluoropolyethers. My broad analytical interest is strongly focused on being of added value to material- or process related challenges. For this reason building on a strong connect to the project teams to become a partner in finding solutions is an essential part of my job(s).
