Electrical Engineer with a unique and varied professional background. With over 15 years in the work force, my experience consists of electrical engineering, hardware design engineering of air traffic control systems, process improvement of design documentation, product development, office management, retail sales, team leader, and mentor. I graduated college with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for over eight years as an Engineer. At Raytheon I lead a team of hardware engineers in the product development department that designed air traffic control equipment. As a team lead I was involved in many aspects of the schedule management, design, procurement, and installation of large scale systems. Additionally, I initiated and participated in cross-functional coordination with mechanical engineering, software engineering, site surveyors, procurement, and management to improve processes and take ownership of projects through completion. After taking a brief period of time off to focus on the growth of my family, I worked as a part-time sales associate for three years and gained valuable customer service and product merchandising experience. Most recently, I was employed as a part-time legal assistant at a small scale disability law office. My role at the firm varied from paralegal research to office management. I regularly interacted with clients, medical professionals and social security administration and became highly proficient at communication and time management. It also helped me re-affirm my passion for helping people.
