With over 8 years of experience in education, I am passionate about creating positive learning environments for students and teachers. As the Talent Manger for the Midwest-Mountain team at Kokua Education, I lead the strategic planning and talent for our substitute teacher network across three of our eight states. I work with a diverse and talented team of professionals to recruit, train, and retain high-quality educators who share our mission of empowering schools and communities. Before joining Kokua Education, I taught 7th and 8th grade ELA in under-resourced communities across Phoenix. I have a Bachelor's of English with a focus in MS Education from Westfield State University in Massachusetts. I am driven by the vision of increasing access and equity in education for all students, and I am eager to collaborate with like-minded organizations and individuals who share this goal.
