As a member of Los Angeles County Homeless Court, work one on one with individuals experiencing homelessness by conducting intakes, educating the individual of the legal process of clearing traffic citations, and assisting them with questions regarding services and housing.Collaborate with team members about how best to help individuals experiencing homelessness with the criminal record clearing process.Research upcoming legislation regarding restorative justice amongst the low socioeconomic community and the homeless population.

Efficiently use the California Style Manual to cite-check judicial opinions, writs of habeas corpus and writs of mandate memos and orders.Proactively assist other judicial assistants with administrative tasks such as making copies, maintaining an organized office, and filing judicial opinions.

Empower self-represented litigants through education and counsel them about their options as a party in a family law case. Provide exemplary customer service while triaging litigants and discussing their next steps and the possible outcomes for their cases. Independently lead educational workshops for litigants beginning divorce or parentage cases.

Responsible for ten to twenty volunteer ushers per show and delegating tasks to them. Assists student ushers and house manager with any issues that present themselves. Utilize problem solving skills when an issue arises. Provide customer service to ensure that patrons are enjoying the show and having a pleasant experience.

Lead reading instruction classes for students ranging from kindergartners to high schoolers with class sizes that ranged from five to twenty students. Taught reading skills to students and managed classroom behavior so students could benefit as much as possible in these classes. Engaged students in rewarding discussion about books and study habits.
