- Addressed more than 25 computer-related issues reported by users per shift such as password resets, internet connectivity issues, new access to University systems, and requests for new computer equipment- Evaluated the proper course of action for issues whether that was transferring a user to another department, personally gathering information from an expert in our office, sending the user to our office for hands-on support, or sending an issue-report to one of our team leads- Assessed the emotional state of a user in order to respond in the most appropriate way (e.g. irate users are asked to redirect their anger before continuing, stressed users are reassured, and so on)
