As a job captain, I help oversee successful production teams to create construction documents for innovative market-rate and student housing projects.As the Innovation Lab Director, I help curate and usher platforms and concepts that will initiate the innovative spirit in our team members.

- Coordinate address specific plans for cities in the Mid-Atlantic region, specializing in town home and high density product types. - Utilization of existing and continuing code knowledge to provide comprehensive residential sets that will pass through permit. - Manage and collaborate with architectural drafters that assist in providing high quality drawings that satisfy the project managers, project coordinators, builder, and ultimately the buyer.

- Worked on the creation of AutoCAD plans of the Equitable Life Assurance Building in order to pursue an understanding of one of the first high-rise mechanical systems.

- Graduate courses included those that enhanced personal knowledge of technology and computer programs such as Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, Vasari, Ecotect, and DesignBuilder. - Developed a thesis connecting architectural articulation through structure and the evolution of time from the 1800s to present. Research focused on tracking the metal-working trade and the correlation to changes in the industry through the ways of material culture (as defined by Henry Glassie). The building design was intended to exploit a blacksmiths'​ guild and corresponding galleries for the community of Spruce Pine, North Carolina in the aims to achieve rich detailing that relates to the material culture of the blacksmith and the community as a general population. -Extracurricular involvement includes planning criticalMASS 2013 and participating in UNC Charlotte's Solar Decathlon house, UrbanEden.

- Oversaw with a peer the completion of the project manual using Masterspec- Led the design, organization, and construction of the structural system and worked in a team to conceptualize the vertical garden system. - Assisted in construction of house.- Chosen to participate during the construction and competition in Irvine, California (Oct. 2013).

- Organized and planned the lecture and student thesis presentations under a budget cut for criticalMASS 2013.- Identified Johnsen and Schmaling to lecture on their work and critique thesis projects. - Identified and invited ten students from other universities to present their thesis projects in under the ideal to promote collaboration of ideas from our peers at other universities.

- “Beyond Green: Bio-reactor Integrated Building Envelope (BIBE) in Urban Environment”- Worked with Professor Kyoung-hee Kim to design a facade that utilizes algae to improve facade performance as well as the improve the building environment.- Chosen to travel to Washington, DC in April with 4 fellow students to represent the project in the P3 Sustainability Exposition.
