I've spent almost 22 years in higher education communications at the University of North Texas. I began as the editor of the university's faculty and staff newsletter, and 20 years later -- after leading web content and social media teams, I returned to the internal communications team to lead the creation of new email-based communication vehicles. Communicating with students in order to enhance their educational experiences -- and particularly with faculty and staff who are the heartbeat of our university -- is my passion.
