Developed and facilitated all professional development. Acted as program coordinator and director for after school programing at six charter elementary and middle schools across Los Angeles. Evaluated the financial stability and organizational budgets for the organization. Negotiated contracts for the company’s summer camp, private pre-school, after school, and in-school programs. Hired and trained staff for after school and in-school programming at six sites. Established and maintained office protocols and systems to ensure efficiency and functionality. Everything we do is designed to not only to be fun and educational on a face-value level, but to also teach, on a deeper level, things such as kindness, compassion, respect, responsibility, accountability, positive communication, cooperation, open-mindedness, resourcefulness, and self-confidence. We employ a wide variety of arts, activities and experiences as a vehicle for developing these important personal skills and abilities. The common thread underlying these activities is the opportunity for creativity and self-expression, which we believe is at the root of developing the self-confidence and sense of agency that can empower a child to reach his or her fullest potential.

Conducted outreach with teachers and education supporters through one-on-one meetings, school visits, and events in order to develop a sense of shared community and urgency. Organized & facilitated weekly networking events to engage current and potential members and assisted with the planning and execution of monthly large events.
