I worked with our Software Engineer to ideate, design, develop and test improvements to our bespoke retail, warehousing and administrative software system for the Hamilton head office and retail store, and 5+ retail outlets. I identified problems, listened, and found solutions that streamlined processes and increased efficiency for many aspects of the business. This role was part of my work at The Carpet Mill (formerly The Carpet Barn).

I led the launch of a nationwide retail mobile sales fleet (16 new branches) to coincide with the launch of the new Hamilton factory. I recruited and trained 18 new staff members in sales and administration roles, including developing a new comprehensive training system, and providing ongoing support. I also prepared and implemented a marketing plan for the brand launch including schedules, print and digital content, and budgeting.
