I have recently left my position with the YMCA and am now teaching in the School District of Philadelphia.At the Pottstown YMCA, I was responsible for before and after school programs in 4 school district and running summer day camp at 3 locations in the Pottstown area. Before this, I was creating and implementing programming for individuals with disabilities at the Abington YMCA. I was also the Special Needs Summer Program Director. I was awarded the 2012 Employee of the Year, for the Abington branch, by the YMCA of Philadelphia and Vicinity. In my spare time, I run 2 handmade shops on Etsy.com, where I sell my own gemstone jewelry. I also hold a PA Teaching Certification in ECE and a BFA.
