Michelle Oliva is a multi-talented young woman who is currently part of a one-of-a-kind BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance offered by HKUST. She is a naturally born leader who is highly passionate about sustainability and who is committed into truly making a change in the luxury industry. She firmly believes that the only way of being impactful in this highly competitive world is to posses the perfect mix of compelling competencies and drive, two qualities she continuously fuels.Not only has she completed her high school career with top scores for the following three diplomas; International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma and the Global Citizenship diploma, but she has been also exposed to several extremely educational internships (e.g. BEE, Hyatt, #Legend) since the early age of 15. She has commenced her university with two scholarships (an academic one and another to recognise her activities outside of her studies) and was selected by HKUST to star in a promotional video with the aim of recruiting other fellow students exhibiting qualities alike hers, becoming a student role model. Amongst being multilingual (i.e. Mandarin, English and Italian) and having lived in the UK, Germany, Italy and for the past seven years in Hong Kong, she is highly adaptive, proactive and collaborative. In addition she is an exceptional multitasker, who has been able to concurrently study, intern, start a new society at university called ESGxFinance, model, and tutor younger students, leading her to define herself as being strong, independent, self-sufficient and warm-hearted.Her motto is to never stop being a learner and to always give it her all.
