OB/GYN Residency Practice - Hospital based outpatient department

Day to day operations of a 6 provider home based primary care practice, including mobile radiology and lab. Responsible for fleet management, meaningful use, GPRO, HEDIS and STARS measures. Ensure providers have needed tools and information to meet expectations for those measures. Monitor and drive RVU to ensure providers meet/exceed expectations for productivity. Trial site for new telehealth platform (via persivia) to securely perform telehealth visits with home bound patients. Use of EMR aprima and centricity as well as heatlhcatalyst, and sutursign. Manage staff of 11 overseeing hours, hiring, disciplinary action, termination as well as coaching and mentoring. Participating in utilization committee, health and wellness committee, also the subcommittee of physical fitness and was directly asked to participate in the employee appreciation week committee.

Coordinated planning for the Spectrum Health Medical Group 2014, 2015 & 2016 Neuroscience Symposium. Provides existing program and new program development support to Operations under the Director of Operations leadership. Serves as the operational lead for the integration of practices and staff, patient satisfaction initiatives, provider onboarding and offboarding, facility projects in collaboration with the facilities department, scheduling of variable site midlevels and other department initiatives as requested and directed by leadership.Interim practice manager as needed. Currently serving as the practice manager for the SHMG Neuroscience Inpatient Service Lines, including neurocritical care, neurohospitalist, neuro vascular (stroke) & interventional neuro-radiology. Responsible for ensuring all inpatient coverage needs are scheduled/covered. Intereact/schedule locum providers for coverage gap needs. Manage the online PerfectServe schedule.

Manage daily operations of a mulit-specialty sleep medicine practice with 10 locations and 20 employees. Interviewing/hiring/onboarding staff and providers (participated in panel interviews for providers). Monitored billing/reimbursement/denial trends. Participated in budgeting for department/locations.

Practice Manager: Manage the daily operations of a 12 provider sleep medicine practice. I focused 100% of my time on the sleep medicine practice for approximately the last 2 years in the role. I oversaw the day to day operations of the sleep medicine practice and it's satalite locations. Previous to that I functioned as an Operations Coordinator. This role was divided into multiple responsibilities. A varying percentage of my time was allocated to practice management of the sleep medicine practice and the remaining time was allocated to various operations activities - project manager for multiple merger/move/new business opportunities. In addition I was the corporate trainer for all new employees needing to use human resource performance software. Operations coordinators are assigned specific offices that they are responsible for working with on any number of issues. I tracked weekly uncollected co pays at all MMPC locations and compile into a report for corporate distribution. In addition to the above listed responsibilities I have worked as was practice manager for pulmonary, critical care & allergy as well as an interim manager on multiple occasions when offices are without their manager (leave of absence, medical/personal leave, vacancy). These assignments have lasted anywhere from several weeks to a year.
