Duty manager at Quarantine Hotel - My role is to make sure the operations of the quarantine hotel runs smoothly and compliant to the SOP’s. I manage a team of 92/93 security officers, Supervisors and receptionists. As well as the welfare of the guests that we had staying there.

In this role I was mainly office based. Part of my job entailed finding new staff as well as doing the first step interviews. I would make sure all paperwork was in place and that vetting was completed. I made sure all rotas were completed for all staff every week/month and made sure all staff members had their invoices in weekly and that they was correct so we didn’t have and payment issues. I attended sites and venues prior to the contracts starting. I also worked as a Supervisor for multiple venues of a weekend.

I maintain the compliance of each venue I work at. I also attend police briefing, keep an eye on the clicker capacity of the venues, make sure all incidents are written correctly and signed off by myself. Along with this role comes door supervision. ID checks, searching, customer service, ejection of customers from a venue and also a duty of care where needed.
