I am a family nurse practitioner with 8+ years of nursing clinical experience. My extensive nursing experience has been in several different healthcare environments- ranging from home health care, skilled nursing rehabilitation facilities, inpatient acute care, stroke/neurological specialty unit, primary care, and urgent care. I believe the combination of my formal education and clinical experience has prepared me to care for a diverse population in any environment, and has provided me the confidence and ability to accurately interpret diagnostic results, X-Rays, and EKGs. This background makes me an ideal candidate for care of patient across the lifespan. Experience in acute care has provided me the ability to maintain a calm demeanor, remain patient care focused, and the confidence to take control in critical situations. Experience in home health and skilled nursing rehabilitation facilities has allowed for me to master the ability to remain flexible, adept at adapting to any environment, and getting the job done regardless of lack of supplies or staff. Experience in primary care and urgent care has provided me the understanding of the importance of time management, the business aspect of health care, and the importance of establishing a positive rapport with patients of all ages quickly. I have mastered clinical skills through experience, and have the knowledge base to care for acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages.
