Michelle earned her Bachelor of Art degree from California University at Santa Cruz in Environmental Science with a Biology/Pre-Med emphasis. Upon graduation, she worked as a Technical Writer in Silicon Valley for the high-tech firm Applied Materials— writing user software manuals and managing the software build database. She started her career in finance in 1999 as a Project Manager working with several county governments on large community development projects. In 2001, she started her own full service Resource Development business. She provided support for entire proposal life cycle, from researching funding sources, budget and project development, to writing the proposal and managing the projects throughout. She is especially interested in projects that raise awareness and support community wellness.
