· Lead and manage the Events and Community Partnerships team· Develop and deliver an exciting and engaging program of community events in line with Council’s policies, standards, code of practice and relevant legislation · Deliver upon the community events strategy including development of community resources and toolkit to enable community capacity building in regards to event delivery· Lead and enable the Community Partnerships officers to develop and deliver on evidence based and outcomes focused planning and practices to maximize social impact and inclusivity · Financial reporting and budget management for all relevant program budgets in addition to identifying and securing funding from alternate sources including sponsorship, grant funding and partnerships · Build trusting and professional working relationships and collaborate with internal and external departments, community groups, stakeholders and key community representatives to ensure the successful delivery of inclusive programs within the community· Drive and deliver Council’s endorsed plans including the Aboriginal Interpretation Strategy, Disability Inclusion Action Plan and Reconciliation Action Plan· Work in collaboration with other sections to promote Campbelltown as a destination to attract major events and festivals

· Lead and manage the Revitalise Queen Street program and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver the priority project in 2022· Curate and deliver the cultural and artistic program for the Revitalise Queen Street program, in consultation with Campbelltown Arts Centre· Identify and scope additional key projects that enable the achievement of the Revitalise Queen Street project in accordance with Reimagining Campbelltown, the Delivery Program and ongoing community and stakeholder engagement· Relationship management with key stakeholders including government agencies, landowners, businesses and the community· Manage the total program budget including multiple external funding sources

· Lead and manage the Community Life section of Council to ensure best practice operations in the areas of Place and Social Planning, Events and Community Partnerships and Sport and Recreation· Deliver on key strategic priorities that are the Community Strategic Plan, Operational Plan and Delivery Program as well as lead the community strategic priority delivery of Reimagining Campbelltown City Centre Masterplan · Manage and deliver on strategic priorities for Community Life including Council’s Sport and Recreation Strategy, the Community Facilities Strategy, the Disability Inclusion Action Plan, the Reconciliation Action Plan and Domestic Violence priorities. · Facilitate strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement practices with other agencies to develop and promote programs in the Campbelltown community that are aimed at enabling capacity building and resilience · Advocate for, and collaborate with, target groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, families, youth, seniors, disability, CALD and disadvantaged groups. Embed evidence-based practices across the organisation to ensure the Campbelltown community is considered during the impending unprecedented population growth and development stage of Reimagining Campbelltown· Establish and manage the Community Life budget that supports Council’s directions, displays clear and accurate accountability for expenditure and revenue, participation in budget forecasting and management processes as well as identify additional external funding opportunities· Demonstrate positive practices and display, coach and manage others to work towards and deliver on Council’s pillars of Trusted Leadership, Organisational Efficiency and Healthy and Engaged Employees

STEM Professionals in Schools is a national volunteer program that facilitates partnerships between schools and industry to bring real STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) into the classroom. As a mentor for the students at James Meehan High School, I have the pleasure of working with the students to share knowledge, confidence and feedback through a range of activities.

· Develop and deliver place based initiatives that are evidence based, outcomes focused and relevant to the local community as the inaugural Senior Place and Projects Officer at Campbelltown City Council· Work with the local community to empower and encourage place activations to continue into the future with minimal council assistance· Develop place programs that focus on strength based community development· Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery focusing on cultural, arts and strengths based programs

· Plan, develop and coordinate community events and activation that promote Campbelltown as a destination· Contribute to the development of the program of annual events and implement new activations· Work with stakeholders in the planning and delivery of Council events· Work towards re-structuring the current sponsorship process through redeveloping a prospectus and engaging large organisations for sponsorship· Update and engage community using social media platforms and marketing and advertising campaigns, working closely with the Communications and Marketing team· Work with the Community Life team to deliver events in line with Council’s objectives and goals· Carry out risk assessments, address all WH&S issues and ensure all events and activations are carried out safely
