Assisting with all manner of finance-related tasks and topics to provide financial direction alongside valuable and accurate financial reporting (both statutory and management) for a variety of businesses.

The role at Parrot UK entailed full oversight & management of the finance function for the UK subsidiary, whilst still needing to have a very hands-on approach within that function. Reporting directly to the MD at Parrot UK and the Finance team / Treasurer at Group level, I was responsible for all UK transactional processing, management accounts and financial reporting (both locally and into Group), annual & quarterly budgets / forecasts, variance analysis, support to business managers on ad-hoc projects or topics and ensuring all statutory reporting and responsibilities of the company were fulfilled to deadline (including accounts, payroll and various UK taxes). In addition to managing one direct finance report, other responsibilities included continual assessment & development of financial & accounting processes, administration associated with company cars, insurances, office leases and business premises as well as assistance to other team members with marketing budget monitoring, customer delivery claims, logistics queries and warranty returns processing.

Having trained and qualified (ACA) at Wenham Major, I went on to perform roles at various levels over my time at the firm; audit semi-senior, senior, assistant manager with my final position being Audit Manager. My management specialism was Charities and I headed up the audit of several charities in addition to the various SME businesses in my client portfolio. I also performed management account & book-keeping services for a number my portfolio clients.
