Michelle has been a member of the Budget Committee since January 2001. As a committee member, she meets monthly to review church assets and expenses. Yearly budgets are addressed and oversight is given to church administrators.Michelle was instrumental in bringing a Children's Church program to Wright Baptist Church in August 2007. Since its inception, she has led the team in program development, scheduling and internal marketing.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast (BGCEC), an organization serving youth in Okaloosa, Escambia and Walton Counties of Florida. The BGCEC has seven site-based units and 1 school-based unit, which served over 6,500 youth in membership or special event programs in 2010. The BGCEC has empowered the children of their community for over 40 years.As Vice President of Operations, Michelle was responsible for overseeing all eight of the units and all of the Unit/Site Directors. She was also in charge of writing and overseeing most of the grants, the training and career development of all the program and management staff, upkeep on the facilities, construction projects and new opportunities within the community for Clubs to grow.

Throughout her career at BGCEC, Michelle served in a variety of positions including Education Director, Program Director, Unit Director, and Area Director. Her responsibilities included program direction, supervising employees, public relations, special events, grant writing and finance collection and oversight.
