I am passionately engaged in the intersection of advanced computational techniques and historical linguistic studies. My research harnesses the power of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Neural Machine Translation (NMT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to decode and interpret one of the oldest known written languages—Akkadian cuneiform.In parallel to my research, I am committed to cultural preservation through technology. My practical work focuses on developing tools and platforms to preserve and promote the Cantonese language, particularly its modern vernacular known as "Kongish". This initiative aims to celebrate and sustain the linguistic diversity and cultural uniqueness of Hong Kong.
