I have 10+ years experience in financial analysis and 3 years experience working in international trade facilitation and logistics, and trade tariff regulations. In my current position, I perform research on companies and their overseas distributors, and provide recommendations regarding exemptions from tariffs. Prior to this, I performed credit analysis and played a key role in underwriting and valuation processes as a credit analyst at Republic Bank and Trust. I also performed risk analysis, identified risks and mitigates for both, and provided recommendations on loan requests for both consumer and commercial clients. In 2014, I joined the World Bank Group as a consultant in the Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice, working specifically in the newly launched Trade Facilitation Support Program (TFSP), which sought to assist developing and least developed countries in assessing the technical and infrastructural improvements necessary for the implementation of the WTO's Trade Facilitation Agreement. much of our work involved bridging the gap between private and public sector interests. In 2013, I received my Master of Arts in International Affairs-Comparative and Regional Studies, with a focus on international security and development, from American University. There, I sought to combine my financial knowledge and interest in international issues by performing research in such areas as comparative economics, post-communist economies, and illicit financial flows. I also acquired an internship with the American Enterprise Institute where I worked under the Director of Economic Policy in performing research tracking and recording data, and drafting various reports. From 2006 to 2011, I performed financial analysis and reporting for hedge funds, and subsequently for Goldman Sachs’ private wealth division. My responsibilities included portfolio analysis, tracking and reconciliation of a wide range of products, including exotic derivatives, aggregating and summarizing complex data sets, and client relationship management.Education:
